Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (short coat). Howdy Mimi, is my name and having a fun time is my game. I’m just as cute as can be. Isn’t this a Howdy dowdy that I’m in here? I’m an out going girl that will rock your world, given half the chance. I always have a smile on my face and am a confident little pooch. That is saying a lot since I’m one of the millions around here! I’ll brighten up your day. So I’ll be waiting for a feel good family to take me away into their hearts! Here is what the staff has to say about me: Mimi came in with Maddie, who is her daughter. Mimi is a fine dog that is confident and social. She likes to be around people and gets along with kids. She is around 3 years old. She is a happy go lucky girl that deserves a loving family. Please call Faustina at 806-664-1615 since she can give you details about the animals! Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
