Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Hound / Mixed. A LOVING COMPANION: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 20 lbs. Hi, my name’s Jessica! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and – though I was a bit unsure at first, it didn’t take long for the love and attention from the volunteers to ease my fears and let me know I am in a good place … SO good, in fact, that they are going to help me find a new family to love and be loved by. Isn’t that awesome? Come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I liked the kids I spent time with in my short break foster home (ages 4-15). So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a super sweet girl who has been nothing but calm and cuddly with the volunteers. I spent a few days in a foster home recently and – boy – did I love being with the people there! In fact, I earned the title of ‘Velcro dog’. I was super well-behaved for my shelter bath and nail trim, sitting calmly and loving the attention. I’m happiest when I am with you! Affectionate and loving, you will quickly see why the volunteers call me a ‘doll baby’. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: As I have gained confidence, my leash skills have improved nicely, and I know the ‘sit’ command. I’m sure you can teach me lots more, so – let’s train! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule (as well as in the home I recently visited). • LIKES/DISLIKES: More than anything, I love being with my people. I’ve not shown much interest in toys yet, but I bet if my person starts playing with them, I may become interested in them, too! In the meantime, Sweetness is my name, and cuddling is my game! Belly rubs are the best, and I am always ready for those. I just want to love and be loved. / I’m pretty sensitive to loud noises, which startle me and make me a flight risk. As I gain more confidence in my new home, this may subside, but just be aware of my dislike of noise and fast movements. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
