Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). *Indigo & Iris are sponsored!! FREE to a home together!* Indigo is a sweet young lady just over a year old. She was a transfer from another rescue along with her sister, Iris. They both unfortunately, did not come from a great background. Their previous owner was forced to surrender his dogs because of living conditions. The house was being condemned. These poor ladies have came along way since arriving! They were terrified of people, and any slight movement or sound that they were unfamiliar with. They have sense blossomed into two charming young ladies. (Still a little timid but, growing more confident everyday!) Indigo is solid black, where as her sister has white on her chest. Indigo needs some basic manners taught, but even with working with her on sit, man she was catching on quickly! They are pretty bonded, but don’t need to stay together. If they do, it is a 2 for 1 adoption price! No resource guarding between the two, and they both have more confidence with another dog. So a household with another dog is preferred! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
