Meet Mauer, a 14.5-year-old Yorkie mix weighing about 19 lbs, who’s looking for a loving home to enjoy his golden years. Despite some vision and dental issues, he has the heart and energy of a much younger dog—especially when it’s time for a walk! Mauer thrives with constant companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. He’s a sweet, loyal boy who just wants to be by your side. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal. Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered.
