She has a sweet temperament and is active and playful. She is very people oriented and would make a wonderful therapy/service dog. She can definitely use a good obedience training course, she is very sweet but needs a few manners. Delta has been treated for a heartworm infection and she should test negative on her next retest in 6 months. Since she has been trated for the heartworms she should have a normal life span! Dogs treated for heartworm infection live happy, high-quality lives. Heartworm infection is relatively common in the United States so we are in need of caring adopters like you that are willing to open their home to a dog that have been trated for a heartworm infection. It is not their fault that their previous owners did not give them heartworm prevention. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
