Dog Breed: Terrier / Chihuahua / Mixed. Hi, I’m Stuart – Your Daily Dose of Joy! I weigh in at about 11 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you—I’m packed with personality and pure entertainment! If you’re having a bad day, I’ll turn that frown upside down with my goofy antics and lovable charm. My favorite activities include backyard adventures with my furry foster sisters, leaping across the couch like a little acrobat, and being carried around like the royalty I know I am. I enjoy playing fetch and the yellow tennis balls are my fav! I do my business outside like a gentleman. Please be aware... I have a bit of “stranger danger”—when someone new comes to our house, I might sound the bark alarm- or you could call it the delivery alarm. I’d thrive best in a low-traffic home where I can feel safe and loved. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with lots of personality, I might just be your guy! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
