Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________ Name: Atlantic Size: (Once fully grown) ~ Large range: 61-100 lbs Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.  Other: Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption: 8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice. This sweet girl has been nothing but wonderful in our house. She’s gentle, smart, and has the best mix of independence and snuggly affection. Atlantic gets along with my dogs, is respectful of our cats, and is great with people and kids (just a little shy at first until she warms up). She’s working hard on her potty training and routine — and she’s such a quick learner! At home she’s calm and easygoing, but she’ll happily join in on playtime too.
