Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). CHILLY - 9 months old, 40 pounds, bouncy, PUPPY! Chilly arrived at VBACAC as a stray. She's a hoot with her bouncy and friendly persona. There's not really any sitting going on...YET... but I bet with some time, consistency and training, she's sitting, giving her paw, lying down and staying like a pro! Chilly seems a little nervous and barely left my side. She was always right under foot and the same when walking on a leash so be careful. She jumps up and on you. She wants your attention and if you try to step away from her, even if just trying to get a photo () she actually starts to whine. Chilly is a puppy with puppylike behaviors. She will need your time, your energy and your patience as she learns boundaries in her new home. She might not be house trained and have accidents but please remember these are accidents. She will need your understanding as she learns her new routine. Chilly will likely be very playful with energy to top it off...she's a puppy. Chilly will likely need extra playtime and exercise...she's a puppy. Chilly will likely need extra love and socializing...she's a puppy. She arrived with another puppy and might be dog social but we don't know for sure. We will update when we learn more about her. Chilly is currently in our medium dog adoption kennel. Come out to meet her. Bring any resident dog to meet her as well.
