Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 620. Just Jack (JJ) is a 2-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd weighing around 15 pounds. He is small in size but big on personality. JJ is fun-loving, independent, and completely obsessed with his toys. Whether he’s entertaining himself or engaging you in a game of tug, this little guy knows how to have a good time. JJ is potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys having a bit of personal space—but don’t be fooled, he’ll still pop over for attention and the occasional cuddle. He’s currently a little underweight, so he’s looking for a home ready to help him bulk up with good food and lots of love. He’s been sweet with his 4-month-old foster dog brother, showing patience and playful energy. He’d likely do great with another respectful pup, but he’s confident enough to thrive solo, too. Jack’s ideal home is active but not chaotic, with a yard or regular walks to help burn off his playful energy. Adults or older, respectful kids would be a great fit, and while another dog is a bonus, it’s not a must. Just Jack... He will be at your feet so watch out! You turn around and there he is ready to see what you are doing. The average lifespan for this breed is 14 years; therefore, Just Jack’s adopter will need to be prepared to keep him for around 12 more years so he will not have to move to a different home again. Just Jack’s adoption fee is $620. This dog comes microchipped, neutered, up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies shots, and heartworm tested being negative. He is currently being fostered in the Plant City/Brandon Florida area. ***We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue, and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida.
