Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier. Meet Hedy! She is a sweet cuddle bug of a girl who loves to play with her humans and go for walks. She does loves to run and wrestle so would do best with a younger male dog that is up for some rougher play or a solo dog home with an active family. She does well with cats but does like to play with them so it has to be the right fit. She knows her basic commands and is house trained. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at .dfwrescueme/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Hedy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM

While they can adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise, a house with a secure yard is often preferred.
