Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog. Scout is young and sweet and incredibly intelligent. He is a very social and sociable dog, loves his dog sibling, and really really enjoys being near his people. He likes to cat flop at your feet and get belly rubs. He has not been exposed to cats, but he was raised around young kids and loves them too. He needs direction and activity, but he is learning fast. We&#39ve already got him working on sit, stay, walk, and heel. Pulls a little on the leash during walks for a couple minutes but then he calms down. He&#39s so smart and so kind, he just needs someone to take all that intelligence and give it a direction. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Scout is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM
