Description
Dog Breed: Greyhound. GFNJ received a call from a member of the Air Force, stationed in NJ. His superiors were on assignment in Virginia when they spotted a dog running in the woods. They tracked the dog down a dirt road to an empty building where there was a crate. They believe that Sammie was abandoned. They lured her with food and transported her to NJ. They reached out for help and we were happy to take Sammie under our wing. She has been to a veterinarian and will be spayed soon. We thank these kind service people who saw an animal in need and stepped up to be her angels. Sammie is now in a foster home with greyhounds, two small dogs and two cats. She is beautiful on the outside and inside. The veterinarians feel that she is about 2 to 3 years old --she is not tattooed.
