Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Kelsi finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Kelsi is a 5-month-old black Lab mix with the softest ears, the sweetest face, and a heart full of love. Weighing in at around 30 pounds, this affectionate pup is equal parts playful, curious, and cuddly. Kelsi is a resilient little soul — she came to us with a broken leg and was marked for euthanasia, but she got a second chance at life. Now fully healed, you’d never know she’d had a rough start. Her bounce-back spirit and zest for life are truly inspiring. She loves people, adores other dogs, and brings a joyful energy to every walk, play session, and snuggle. Whether it’s a hike through the woods, a trip to the beach, or just a walk through your neighborhood, Kelsi is always ready for her next big adventure — tail wagging, nose to the wind, and heart wide open. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her friendly nature suggests she could learn to love them too. Kelsi is still building confidence in new environments, but she’s eager to please and quickly picking up on training. She’s looking for a forever home that will guide her with love, give her the exercise and training she needs, and include her in life’s everyday adventures. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogsarrcolorado for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: arrcolorado/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
