Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 300. STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application. Hi! My name is Hotdog, but you can call me Frank! I am a happy go lucky pup looking for my forever home! I LOVE everyone I meet, including cats, dogs and kids! I have FOMO {Fear of Missing Out} and I want to do whatever you're doing! I love my foster siblings (the furry ones, and the not so furry ones) and we love playing in the yard, going for bike rides, and nature walks! If you would like to meet me, please fill out an app! My adoption fee is $300 and I will come with leash, collar, treats, toys, some other goodies, my vetting up to date, and I'm already microchipped! Thanks for looking! Love, Frank! All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
