Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Henry is well-mannered. He knows basic cues and skills, and has solid loose-leash walking skills. He may need some time to adjust to new environments but is quick to warm up with patience and love. OTHER PETS: Henry is a laid-back dog with a discerning taste in friends. While he may be selective about his canine companions, He's met the dogs here at TJO calmly. Case-By-Case (Dog selective) OWNER EXPERIENCE: Henry is a calm and content senior dog who thrives in a laid-back environment. With a mellow temperament and a love for lounging, they make the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a quiet, relaxed lifestyle. Whether it's napping on the couch or taking leisurely strolls, Henry is happy to be by your side. First Dog KIDS: Due to his size, Henry is best suited for a home with children aged 15 and older. He thrives in a calm environment and would appreciate Kids 15+ ACTIVITY LEVEL: While Henry is no longer as spry as in his youth, he will still appreciate daily strolls around the neighborhood, savoring the sights and smells at a comfortable pace, as well as lots of mental enrichment to meet all his needs. He's content lounging around and basking in the sun. Couch Potato, Good Walking Buddy VETERINARY CARE: Henry came in with skin allergies that responded well to treatment. It is unclear at this time if this issue was acute or chronic, but he would benefit from a high quality diet and a strong relationship with a vet.
