Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 450. Hi, my name is Jade Sparkle! I’m a young, smart girl who absolutely loves to play catch—tennis balls are my favorite! I also can't resist a good squeaky toy—gotta make sure you know I'm around! I’m still learning the do’s and don’ts of home life, but my foster mom says I’m a quick study and very clever. I adore my foster human siblings and enjoy meeting other dogs when we’re out and about. There aren’t any other dogs in my foster home right now, though, so I’d love a playmate in my future home! Transitions can be a little scary for me at first, but give me a couple of days and I’ll settle in nicely. I’ve become a big fan of napping in my foster’s bed at night. I’m also getting used to being in a kennel while my foster mom is at work. I’ve made great progress, but I’ll need a patient adopter who can keep working with me—especially since I’ve shown some escape artist skills with wire crates! Overall, I’m a quiet girl. I might bark a little when I first go into the kennel, but I calm down quickly and stay quiet while my people are gone. My ideal home would be with someone who understands my breed and is willing to invest time and love into helping me thrive. I’m your classic velcro German Shepherd—I love to be close to my people. Once I get into a routine, I become much more confident and comfortable. Jade is from an Owner Surrender.
