Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Feist / Mixed (short coat). This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Gina Grace, a 2-year-old petite mixed-breed (maybe Terrier?) with the gentlest soul and the softest short fur you’ve ever felt. At just 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size to curl up next to you. It’s her favorite spot in the world. Gina is a quiet, low-key companion who’s happiest when things are calm. She’s not one to bark or bounce off the walls. Instead, she plays with her toys, snuggles into soft blankets, and watches the world with thoughtful, hopeful eyes. Her foster mom says Gina gives the best little looks, like she’s trying to tell you how much she wants to trust. And she’s getting there, one cuddle at a time. She’s still figuring out the world and is shy, especially outside or around new people. But she’s made huge strides already. She’ll happily greet you at the door with a wag and a little smile, and she’s always down for a good belly rub (or three). She’s learning to sit, understands “No,” and uses potty pads like a pro. Gina isn’t crate-trained, but she does fine in a quiet room when she needs to be enclosed. She’d love a calm home with a patient female owner who can give her time to open up. A confident dog buddy would be a big plus, since she’s great with her two dog siblings and watches them for cues. Gina Grace is a soft, sensitive girl who’s been through a lot and is ready for a nice lady to love her just the way she is. If you have a peaceful home and a gentle heart, she might be the perfect match. Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, July 5th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501. Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: aarf-tn/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: aarf-tn/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) aarf-tn/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
