Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). SILVER - 5-8 years old, 50 pounds, nervous in shelter Silver arrived at VBACAC bc her owner could no longer care for her. She's been nervous and a little growly behind the cage bars but we all understand this when your world is turned upside down. And that's what happened to Silver. Silver is slowly letting down her walls to trust staff and volunteers. She will need time to learn to trust. She will need space as she gets used to a new home and routine. She will also need attention, just enough, so she can settle in knowing you have her back. Silver has the bulldog shape and size, that being short and stubby. She is grey and white with some brown here and there. Her paws are large, too! So cute! She enjoys going for walks. She enjoys being near her humans. We introduced Silver to a couple new dogs and she seemed only a tiny bit interested. She mainly walked around sniffing, and every once in a while, approached one of the other dogs for a quick sniff. We will update this bio when we learn more about her. Silver is currently in a back kennel so if you come in and don't see her, please just ask.
