Duke is a 6 yr old handsome, large collie with a heart to match. He’s confident, curious and full of personality. Duke enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive either with a compatible canine companion, or as the center of attention as an only dog because he loves people. He is naturally watchful and alert. Whether there’s a visitor at the door or a squirrel passing through the yard, Duke is happy to keep his family in the loop. He enjoys car rides (and hops in all on his own) and he walks nicely on a leash. He knows a few basic cues like “come,” “sit,” and “no,” and is eager to learn new ones. Duke would be a great fit for an active family that enjoys engaging with their dog. He would love nothing more than to tag along with whatever his human wants to do and, when you get to your destination, he will plop down and look regal or fall asleep.
