Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Doberman Pinscher / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Ahab! This 9-month-old, 38-pound pup may have a little hound in his mix and a whole lot of charm. Ahab is playful, curious, and just beginning to learn how to be a dog—everything from leash walks to basic manners is a new adventure for him. He’s the perfect size for someone looking for a smaller sidekick, and we don’t expect him to get too big. Ahab would love a patient, committed family ready to guide him through puppyhood and help him grow into the loyal adventure buddy he’s meant to be. Ahab has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.
