She’s currently snuggled in my arms with her head on my pillow and loving every second of it! She slept great last night, no accidents in the house, and she gets along great with our dog Ham. She is super laid back and great in her crate! Bernice entered a rural shelter as a stray with old puncture wounds throughout her body and a skin infection. It’s clear life wasn’t kind to her up until that point, but you would never know it from Bernice’s sweet, gentle, trusting disposition. She is now safe in a foster home and on the hunt for a forever home! Bernice is 2 years old and weighs around 45 lbs. She’s in foster care with another dog who she does fantastic with. She also participated in doggie playgroups via the shelter and was a superstar! Bernice will make a wonderful addition to a family willing to give her all the things a dog needs - love, structure, guidance, and a lifetime commitment.
