Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Available to foster or adopt! Breed: Terrier X DOB: 7/2024 Gender: male Altered: no Coat: medium Size: small Color(s): black/brown/white Description:***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Kash, a very energetic Terrier X in need of a new home as my owner moved and I could not go too. I'm affectionate and playful and I'm good with other dogs, cats, and children. I love treats, walks, and getting pets. I am very friendly but will growl at strangers. I am crate-trained, somewhat paper-trained, and respond well to treats and walks. I am a very active dog who loves to run, jump (I can jump really high) and play. Be warned, however, I am not good being left alone and may spend my time barking until you return, so my future family will need to accommodate this. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
