Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff (medium coat). Hi, Iâm Bruno â 129 Pounds of Love, Personality, and Spoiled Baby Iâm a big guy with an even bigger heartâand yeah, Iâve got a personality to match. At 129 lbs, Iâm basically a walking hug who loves head and butt scratches (the more, the better). I used to be someoneâs spoiled babyâserved chicken, pampered daily, and deeply loved. But when the Eaton fire took my familyâs home, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender me.It was hard on all of us, but Iâm trying to stay hopeful. I can be a little unsure with new people at first, but once I warm up, Iâm just a big mush who wants to lean in for love and gobble up hot dogs. I walk nicely on leash, but when I see something scary to me I need a strong handler who can reassure me and calm me down. Iâd love to be your one-and-only petâI have so much love to give and really prefer to keep all the attention for myself (can you blame me?). Iâm looking for a kind, patient family whoâll give me the time and space to blossom again.Think youâve got room in your heartâand homeâfor a gentle giant like me? I promise Iâm worth it. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
