Dog Breed: Beagle / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 325. Pretty BAMBI is a darling little short stack beagle mix girl looking for a home. She's a young dog, maybe 2-3 years old and fully grown at just 26 lbs. It appears that Bambi has already had a litter of pups. Our best guess on her breed mix is beagle plus some chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund) giving her a long and low squatty body and "tweener" ears (neither long nor upright), plus a few other breeds we can't begin to guess at. Bambi is a good natured affectionate girl who's happy to meet new people. She has a full tilt play style and loves to play ball and frisbee and do high speed zoomies in the yard. Bambi's hard play style would probably overwhelm most dogs her size or smaller, but should be okay with a bigger dog or as an only dog. If you'd like to meet Bambi, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Bambi at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
