Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (short coat). You'd never know it from looking at this sweet face that Pip had a terrible life before being rescued. She comes from a home with 8 other dogs and many cats. We were prepared to bring 5 young puppies from the same home up to EHR because the owner was threatening to drown them. Unfortunately, the owner's teen sons gave them all away to anybody that wanted them like they were handing candy. Will those poor pups live their lives on a chain or tied to a tree in the yard? The owner did not want Pip so she was going to tie her to a pole out in the country. EHR said, "No way" so Pip is with us to find a forever home. The vet said that Pip is sweet but a little shy at first but she was fine with other dogs (we already know that Pip lived with MANY other dogs and she's also good with cats since she lived with them, too).
