Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Hello there! Nameâs Gutsavo⦠Iâm a bit slower these days. The legs creak, the naps are longer, and my hearingâs not what it used to be. Although, donât let that fool you. Iâve still got a nose for trouble (and bacon). Mostly, though, I like to keep things simple. A patch of warm sun on the floor? Heaven. A soft bed near the window? Perfection. Toss in a treat or two, and youâve just described my perfect day. Iâm happiest lying right here, feeling the sun soak into these old bones. So if youâre looking for excitement, look elsewhere. But if youâve got a quiet afternoon, a gentle hand, and maybe something crunchy in your pocket... then pull up a chair. Iâll be right here, napping, snacking, and soaking up the golden hours.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
