This sweet, tenderhearted, 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix tips the scale at a perfect 45 pounds and is ready to find her forever family. Life on the streets wasn’t always easy for her, but you’d never know it from the way she tries every day to embrace the comforts of home. She’s a quick learner, eager to please, and making progress in leaps and bounds. Shyla can be a little reserved at first, but with a kind word, patience and a few treats, her tail starts to wag and her affectionate nature shines through. Once she feels safe, she’s all about having fun - especially if water is involved! Splashing in a pool, wading at the beach, playing at the lake, or chasing a backyard water hose - if it’s wet, Shyla is in her element. She’s also a great walking buddy, staying nicely by your side on leash, and can always be motivated with a tasty treat. Shyla gets along well with other dogs and would love the company of a confident, friendly pup to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence. With her gentle heart, playful spirit, and love of all things water, Shyla is ready to bring joy and loyalty to the family lucky enough to call her their own.
