He’s full of energy, loves toys of all kinds, and enjoys daily bike rides or walks to help him stay calm and connected. Benny is smart, food-motivated, and thrives on routine—he’s learning to sit for attention, walk politely on leash, and settle in for couch cuddles. He’s also fully house-trained with access to a doggy door and is working on slowing down his mealtime with a puzzle bowl. Benny is friendly with other dogs and was social in shelter playgroups, though he’s had some conflicts with the foster’s resident dog. He’s very affectionate with people he knows, and while he’s a bit wary around strangers or small kids, he just needs time and space to warm up.
