This adorable 12-year-old Shih-Tzu may be mostly blind, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit—especially when there’s food involved (he never misses a meal!). Chewie is on a little fitness journey to trim his fluffy figure, but his heart is already extra large. He gets along famously with other dogs and cats, and he’s a total pro when it comes to his daily eye drops—no fuss, just love. Chewie’s favorite pastime? Snuggling! Whether it’s cuddling up right next to you in bed or curling into his cozy doggy bed, he’s all about the comfy life. He’s also brushing up on his potty skills (and learning fast—he’s a clever pup!). All in all, Grandpa Chewie is a gentle, lovable sweetheart who’s ready to melt your heart. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good.
