Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. This beautiful young 1 year old Malino is mix will steal your heart. He loves people, is supper playful, and is such a goof ball. He has not had a lot of training, but is very willing to learn. Bullwinkle loves food, treats, and toys so you have your choice of training tools. While he likes a ball, it is not his life's mission. So after a few throws of the ball he will stop fetching. He will make you laugh at his antics and his absolute joy in life. Remember the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon. Well, think of Bullwinkle in dog form and you have this fun dog. He likes other dogs with decent introductions. He can be ok with dog savy cats. He will chase if the cats run, but is fairly easy to call off. He will need a home that enjoys his dorky personality, while giving him the guidance and training to become the best dog he can be.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
