Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat). Cinnamon is about 6 months old, and weighs around 31 pounds - will not be a very large dog. She is a VERY sweet and loving girl. She loves playing with other dogs, as you can tell from the picture of her in the play yard with several dogs. Cinnamon is very affectionate and loves everyone!! She does very well on her leash and is fully vetted. Cinnamon is such a great size that would do well for someone who is looking for a little lovebug. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
