Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Hi, my name is Gemma and although I have moved from home to home across California, Iâm in such good spirits! Iâve now been at the shelter for about 6 months and Iâm ready to find a forever home. When I first arrived to CVAS, I was only 41 lbs and now Iâm a happy 60 lbs! If you love the pool, Iâm your girl⦠especially during these hot San Diego summer days. I love chillinâ with my favorite red, rubber ball while lying in the water. I enjoy a game if fetch but would be content with my ball alone if you felt a little lazy. I love my walks with the volunteers and all the snacks during my training session. My ideal family would have a yard, pool (of course), and no other dogs. I just want someone to give me all the love they have. Please come down to meet me or consider foster to adopt. With foster to adopt I can still do training lessons at the shelter once a week for two weeks. I know the cues âsitâ, âdownâ and âshakeâ. Iâm working on âtouchâ, âleave itâ, âdrop itâ, âstayâ and crate training.
