Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat). Ballerina Now about 11½ months old, this stunning Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix has been through so much but continues to move forward with quiet resilience. She’s on the smaller side for her mix—likely due to early malnutrition—and probably won’t grow beyond 40 lbs. During her pre-surgery bloodwork, Ballerina tested positive for Lyme disease—an unfortunately common tick-borne illness. While it can cause joint pain and fatigue, it's very manageable with medication and care, and she’s already on a treatment plan. Currently in a foster home near Binghamton, NY, Ballerina is searching for a patient, nurturing foster home to help her continue building trust and confidence. She’s gentle, observant, and so deserving of a fresh start. Will you help her find safety and love? All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
