Dog Breed: Plott Hound. Meet Nikki! Plott Hound About 2 years old Around 50 lbs Floppiest ears around Nikki is such a sweet girl with a beautiful black and tan brindle coat. Coming from an outdoor shelter, Nikki didn’t get the chance to learn about the luxury of a fluffy dog bed. With a little bit of guidance and patience, Nikki is learning it’s okay to take a nap and relax instead of walking around or constantly chewing on her toys (don’t worry she still love to chomp on all her stuffed animals). Once she does settle, she is the cutest little snuggle bug. She does awesome in a crate and takes her time coming out once the door is open. We are working hard to help keep her house trained with a solid routine. She may have one of the strongest bladders her foster mom has ever seen. She is a smart little girl and is learning to come, sit, and stay. Her treat of choice is cheese! Nikki is still young and has some puppy tendencies and energy. She would do great in a house that is ready to support her active lifestyle. Nikki is currently in a foster home where she is learning her limits with a cat. She gets very excited and can be overwhelming to the cat when she sees him. We do think Nikki would do great in a home with another dog to learn and play with! Nikki is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She will be available for adoption on or after 7/13 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144, KL 16182
