Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Adoption Fee: 400. Oh Luke! Luke is about 4-5 months old and a sweet but shy boy. He will take a little more time to trust but once he does he is going to be a good boy. He loves his people! He lives with dogs of all sizes and kids and does well but kids under 5 unless they are on the calmer side might be too much for him. He is getting neutered on 7/12 and will be ready for adoption after that. His adoption fee is $450 and will include his neuter, microchip, being up to date on vaccines, prevention and dewormed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
