Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees (medium coat). Meet bonded pair Sophie and Skye! Sophie is a 4 year old female Great Pyrenees and Skye Too is an 8 year old female Great Pyrenees. They were found together as strays and due to their strong bond, must be adopted together to the same home. They are both great with new people, children, and dogs. They are very gentle. They enjoy lounging with the other dogs in their foster home, and snuggle up with each other every night. Sophie, 4 yrs old, is tremendously beautiful, friendly, and mellow. She walks well -albeit slowly- on a leash. She absolutely loves to have the scruff of her neck scratched! When excited, she hops like a large white bunny! Skye Too, 8 yrs old, is remarkably sweet, happy, and chill. She started out terribly frightened, would try to run away, and refused to walk on a leash. After a short time with her foster family, she has absolutely blossomed! She now exudes happiness, loves showing off her wildly cute, toothy smile, and will greet you with excitement when she sees you! She avidly seeks out every possible opportunity for belly rubs. Skye Too came into rescue with a bad limp and ended up requiring FHO surgery. She is now fully recovered. She walks well on a leash with a harness. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.
