Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. I have a mommy, daddy, and ten puppies that were dumped on me. I live at a dead end road on a mountain so this is an ideal place for dumping these babies. The mom and dad are pit bulls and I’m not sure of their age. The puppies are pit mixed with lab and possibly dutchound. The puppies are 7 weeks old going on 8 weeks. No vaccinations because I couldn’t afford any . The puppies are very friendly. There are 3 girls and seven boys. The daddy plays kind of rough but I am trying to break him of that habit. Mom and dad LOVE TO RIDE!!!!!momma dog is very sweet and loves riding in your lap while she rides in the car. Please help us find good homes for these babies. I already have five of my own and I’m taking care of Moms seven dogs. I just can’t take on another 12. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
