Meet Tipper, a sweet and tender-hearted puppy. Her gentle demeanor is complemented by a playful spirit and eagerness to please. She is affectionate and appeasing with quiet adults, living comfortable around several large breed social dogs and is coexisting well with a cool cat. She has been friendly with children she has met, however, she can be quite nervous with new noises and activity so a home without children would be best for her at this time. She is thriving in her foster home, but new places and experiences are scary for her. She is an introvert at heart. At home she is a typical, playful puppy. Based upon this we believe Tipper would do best in a calm, patient and predictable environment where she can feel secure and safe and not pushed to do anything too soon or too fast. She loves having a routine! She is and likely always will be an introvert, but she is such a lovable and playful dog when in her environment. She is slowly learning that the leash isn't scary so a fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood are critical for this sweet girl, as is another resident social adult dog. She looks to the resident dogs in the home for guidance. Tipper's adopter should be prepared to go slow with her and take things at her pace, checking in with professional behavior support as relevant since every experience a puppy has matters.
