Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Nash is a 6yo male lab mix who was rescued a year ago when his owner died in Memphis. Good with cats and other dogs. Fine with older kids and living with an 11 year old in his foster home. Moderate activity level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Housebroken. Never crated because he doesn’t need to be. In fact, Nash was kept in a small crate for long hours by his original owner and, as a result, he doesn’t like the crate. His original owner made little effort to socialize Nash and he’s still somewhat unsure with new people and situations. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 40 pounds. Nash’s ideal adopter would be home a lot and able to continue his socialization so he can reach his full potential. He would make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family with kids!
