Age: 9 weeks Size: 2.2 lbs Estimated breed: Chihuahua mix A family in SC reached out to our friends Because of Roscoe for assistance with their four chihuahuas, including nursing mama Gigi and her three little babies. The trailer where they lived didn't have working AC and they were struggling to keep all 7 dogs fed and healthy. Because of Roscoe immediately went to the property with food and other supplies and got all the adult dogs scheduled to be altered and get up to date with their vetting. While they weren't immediately prepared to take in dogs, when the owners agreed to surrender mama and babies to give them a better life, Because of Roscoe scooped them up and sent them our way so we could find them the best forever homes! Gus is 9 weeks old and weighs only 2.2 lbs. Both parents are chihuahuas who weigh under 10 lbs, so he'll stay a small dog when full-grown! Gus is a shy little boy who is the smallest of his siblings. He's super sweet and loves cuddles! He is in a foster home with a gentle child, another dog, and a cat, who he does great with. Like all puppies, he's looking for a forever home with time, patience, and love to teach him everything a young puppy needs to know!
