Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. The loud noises really scare her and she would do best in a new home that is quiet. Once out of her kennel, she clings to people and just wants attention and love. Nyla is 2 years old. She is spayed and vaccinated. Nyla is good with cats and with other dogs. She is super fearful of some men and may be because of something that happened in her past. She loves car rides and is leash trained but was never crate trained. Please share to help Nyla find a forever home! If you already have a dog, bring them with you for a 'meet and greet'. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
