We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: PR shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Buccee would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. He has lived his entire life outdoors in a shopping center there and is super sweet and loving with people. People who knew him were thrilled when he was rescued. Buccee is a very friendly guy who wants nothing more than to be safe and loved for all his days - to get to be with people AND under his own roof - AND always know where his next meal is coming from.
