He love the people in the house and wants to play all day long with the resident dogs. His play style could be described as jumpy and persistent. He doesn’t always understand signals from other dogs when they have had enough but we think he will catch on soon. He is not offended at all by rejection and just continues being his happy self. He loves to play fetch with a ball in the yard. Walks are enjoyable for all and he sleeps through the night in a kennel. We are learming more about his potty training skills, so far no accidents in the house when allowed outside frequently. He would love an active family to keep him busy and out of trouble. He has a lot of puppy in him! Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
