Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Adoption Fee: 350.00. Who is looking for the perfect duo? Meet Jade and Skye! Jade is a brindle French bulldog, almost 5 years old and a peanut who’s 40lbs. Skye is an American pitbull terrier, 9 years old and about 45lbs. Skye can be nervous around new people, especially men, but please don’t hold that against her! That is likely due to the abuse she went thru before she became a diamond. Both are playful little girls who love their friends to romp around with. They love toys, are good on leash and crate trained. They certainly wouldn’t mind being spoiled with lots of cuddles and kisses! And it’s a plus if you have treats! Who doesn’t love a good treat! Can you be the candidate that opens your home to these beauties?? ► We do not adopt to Canada due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation ► We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
