Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed (long coat). Please contact Nancy (nancy.hemphillgmail) for more information about this pet. This ridiculous ball of fluff is still a puppy. Sunny is 3 to 4 months old and weighs 10 pounds. Please don’t ask what breed he is because honestly we have no idea. He will probably be a medium to smallish adult but no guarantees. What we do know is that he is sweet and he is adorable and he is going to make a family very happy. He is a puppy, and he does chew and nips like a puppy. He definitely needs to learn manners and he is not completely potty trained. He will sleep in a crate all night but he would definitely prefer your bed. He will require regular brushing and grooming to keep his coat soft and beautiful. Sunny is a darling pup and is available for adoption. LSAR.rescuegroups

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
