Description
Dog Breed: Mastiff. Meet Daisy 7–8 Month Old Mastiff Mix | Playful, Sweet, and Ready to Bloom Looking for a goofy, loving sidekick who’s equal parts cuddlebug and adventure buddy? Meet Daisy—a young Mastiff mix (maybe with a little Cane Corso and Southern hunting dog in her roots) who’s as fun as she is unique. Daisy came to us after her previous owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her in order to care for a family member battling stage 4 cancer. While she may have lost her first home, Daisy hasn’t lost her joy—this girl is all wagging tails, play bows, and puppy kisses. She’s a petite powerhouse for a Mastiff mix, but don’t let her size fool you—Daisy is full of energy, love, and personality. She’s already shown how great she is with kids and had a blast playing with a large male dog. Her perfect match? A home with another playful pup or an active human who’s ready to run, romp, and laugh along with her. Still in her puppy phase, Daisy is eager to learn, bond, and bring light to the lucky family who gives her a forever home. Good with kids Dog-friendly (especially with playful, large companions!) Young, active, and tons of fun This sweet girl is ready to put down roots. Could you be the sunshine in Daisy’s next chapter?

Overview:
The Mastiff, an ancient and noble breed, boasts a history stretching back millennia, often linked to the Molosser dogs of antiquity. Renowned for their immense size, these gentle giants are characterized by their powerful, muscular build, broad head, and short, dense coat typically seen in fawn, apricot, or brindle. Despite their imposing appearance, Mastiffs are famous for their remarkably calm and gentle temperament, making them surprisingly affectionate and devoted companions. They generally get along well with children and other pets, provided they are properly socialized from a young age. While their size might suggest a need for vast spaces, their relatively low energy levels mean they can adapt to apartment living if given regular, moderate exercise. Prospective owners should be aware of common health concerns such as hip and elbow dysplasia, bloat, and eye conditions, necessitating responsible breeding and veterinary care. Their loyalty and protective instincts, combined with their loving nature, make the Mastiff a truly magnificent addition to the right family.
