Dog Breed: Boston Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Remember Sonny and his brother? Right before the 4th of July, we sent out an urgent plea for a foster home for two Boston boys who were stuck in the San Bernardino shelter. A wonderful couple stepped up and rescued them both, keeping them separated to see if stress had been the cause of their squabbling. Sadly, it turns out that one of the boys—Sonny—isn’t comfortable around other dogs. He’s now in boarding at our vet hospital and urgently needs a foster home where he can be the only pet. Sonny is just 2 years old and absolutely charming when he has humans all to himself. He’s affectionate, adorable, walks beautifully on a leash, and just wants to be loved. He’s desperate for comfort—but right now, he’s stuck in boarding, and it’s breaking our hearts.
