She has not lived the life of a traditional beloved companion that was raised in a home. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Kara is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 07/09/25 she had a dental polishing. Weight: 51 lbs Height: 24 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $599 Fence needed? Yes, Kara requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. Please note that Kara can and will jump a fence if she is looking for you. You will have to stay in the back yard with her or have her on a leash. What kind of home would be best for me? Kara thrives with another dog by her side. Leashes are still a little confusing, and the mechanics of “how the world works” are new to her, but Kara is determined. She’s learning. She’s trying. How do I act when I first meet new people? Kara is quiet and reserved when meeting new people. She will greet your dog before she greets you. Give her time and space and calm and she will show you what true poodle joy looks like. Other tips and tidbits: Kara is estimated at 3.5 years old. We celebrate her birthday 11/30/2021. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
