Please apply online at texasgreatdane/adoption-application/ ** Dolly Pawton is1 of a litter of 7 Siberian Huskies that were born May 22. They are all smart, very social, affectionate and a lot of fun. They learned the dog door by the time they were 8 weeks old. Although they are not totally sure about going outside to do their "business", they are very good about using pee pads. Dolly is one of the smallest weighing just under 4-1/2# at 8 weeks of age. Her ideal owner should have experience with Huskies as they often can require extra training, mental stimulation, and extensive amounts of physical exercise than more sedentary breeds. Huskies also are heavy shedders and require frequent brushing to maintain a beautiful coat. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
