They are all smart, very social, affectionate and a lot of fun. By the time they were 8 weeks old, they already knew how to use the dog door. Although they aren't always good about going out to do their "business", they are good about using pee pads. At 8 weeks old, Martina weighed a little over 5-1/2#. Her ideal owner should have experience with Huskies as they often can require extra training, mental stimulation, and extensive amounts of physical exercise than more sedentary breeds. Huskies also are heavy shedders and require frequent brushing to maintain a beautiful coat. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
